Audi RS6 Avant Wagon Got 787Hp Upgrade By MTM

The Audi RS6 Avant wagon which has 592-horsepower with a 4.0-liter V8 is set to launch the wagon to 60 mph in around 3.5 seconds has been tuned by the Audi enthusiasts and gotten and upgraded horsepower.

In an Instagram post, MTM announced it had coaxed an extra 196 ponies from the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 to bring output to 787 horsepower, plus an extra 170 pound-feet of torque to bring it to 760 lb-ft of giddyup, all from simple software updates. That’s right, the engine and exhaust, everything is otherwise stock. It showed images of the wagon atop a dyno, plus the computer graph ostensibly backing up the test results.

MTM showed an RS 6 Avant tuned to 750 hp and 697 lb-ft of torque at the Geneva Motor Show that it called the MTM RS6 Clubsport, complete with a two-tone orange and black interior and a roll cage taking up the backseats.

MTM also shared pictures of the RS6 Avant sitting on the dyno, along with a computer readout confirming the towering outputs. For the record, this would make the MTM RS6 Avant more powerful than a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

The tuner is also said to be preparing “multiple tuning options” and also made mention of the new RS7 and RS Q8 achieving the same performance gains with the Stage 1 upgrade. US pricing will be finalized over the next couple of days for what will be some of the quickest Audis ever seen.
