Geneva Motor Show, aftermarket tuner Mansory releases a number of wild and wacky creations. Here is the G-63 Star Trooper modified by the German tuner.
It’s done the same this year and the Mercedes-Benz G-Class you’re looking at is one of its most intriguing projects. Designed and built with the help of Philipp Plein, the vehicle is dubbed the Star Trooper Pickup and is based on a Mercedes-AMG G63 that’s undergone a series of comprehensive modifications.
This is basically a G63 truck with all the updates we have seen from Mansory before. These updates include the gray camouflage, the 24-inch alloys, red LEDs, and the carbon aftermarket parts.
Inside, the Star Trooper Pickup Edition gets the same treatment as its five-door counterpart, which includes the camo-printed leather trims with red accents and the infamous red star-studded headliner. The only difference is that this one only seats two, with the rear cabin transformed into a cargo bed, and also the G-Class have been available with two-doors.
Adorning the exterior of the vehicle is a matte black and grey camouflage design. The vehicle also sits on a set of custom black wheels, has new side-exiting exhausts, power-retractable side steps and overhauled front and rear facias.
Power is provided by a modified 4.0-liter twin-turbo AMG V8 that now delivers 838 HP (850 PS) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. Mansory claims its Star Trooper Pickup can accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds.
