Rolls-Royce is starting another month with a limited-edition Dawn that celebrates the Roaring Twenties. It is a dubbed the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet Collection. It was said that just 50 examples will be built for worldwide sale.
It will be based on the Dawn convertible which for the new series is being transformed into a speedster.
The powertrain will be carried over from the Dawn which means the 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 will deliver a healthy modestly tuned to deliver 563 hp (420 kW). That is enough to get to 100 km/h in 5 seconds. Will it be quicker in Speedster form? Only time will tell.
The roadster follows the tradition of other Silver cars, including the Silver Dawn, Silver King, Silver Silence, and Silver Spectre. Rolls-Royce will make just 50 copies of its latest Silver creation. All of those are expensive (well, every Rolls is expensive), so while prices for the Bullets haven’t been revealed, figure they will cost well above $350,000, the approximate base price for a Dawn.
In addition to the car itself, the customers will also get an invitation for “epic road-trips,” which will be made available through the brand’s digital home called Whispers.
