RTR Creates A Widebody Mustang With 750Hp For Its 10th Anniversary

American tuners have been modifying Ford Mustangs to the extreme. Even the Blue Oval has answered the call with top-end versions of the muscle car, such as the latest Shelby GT500, which boasts 760 HP.

On the visual front, RTR’s limited edition Mustang Spec 5 is inspired by Gittin Jr.’s drift car. It’s equipped with fender flares on all four corners, with visible bolts, updated bumpers, hood, front apron, side skirts and rear wing. The lively paint accents, which can be applied in different shades, and the forged wheels, shod in grippy tires from Nitto, round up the offering.

Like all Mustang RTR Spec 5 cars, the 10th anniversary edition will pack a 5.0-liter V-8 boasting a Ford Performance Phase 2 supercharger kit that helps liberate 750 horsepower and 670 pound-feet of torque. A number of drivetrain components will also be upgraded to handle the extra grunt, including the addition of a pair of axle half shafts.

RTR partnered with Lebanon Ford to bring ten RTR Spec 5’s to a select group of buyers. RTR currently offers three levels of RTR Mustangs that you can purchase at dealerships across the country but the Spec 5 takes things to a new level.
