The 2021 BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition arrives to offer customers interested in the big, luxury crossover something even more special. It’s called the X7 Dark Shadow Edition, and it’s a special edition that will be offered for the 2021 model year only. Just 600 will be made.
All X7 Dark Shadow Edition models to leave the company’s plant in Spartanburg come standard with 22-inch M light-alloy wheels with a V-spoke design and a Jet Black matte finish. An M sports exhaust system is also a standard feature.
BMW will sell the limited-edition model in six- or seven-seat configurations. Regardless of how many seats buyers choose to have, the SUV receives an M leather steering wheel, BMW Individual Merino full leather upholstery with Night Blue/Black contrasting seams, and BMW Individual roofline finished in Night Blue with an Alcantara finish.
The sinister-looking SUV is priced from $120,490, including destination, and comes equipped with a number of the X7’s available options fitted as standard. This includes the X7’s M50i grade, meaning a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 good for 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque resides under the hood.
Inside, there’s Merino leather upholstery in a two-tone mix of Night Blue and Black. The headliner is Night Blue Alcantara, and the same color in Nappa leather covers the upper dashboard, door panels, and armrests. The bottom section of the dashboard and front seatbacks are Black Merino leather. Piano Black trim appears on the lower center console.
Generally optional packages come standard on the Shadow Edition. The Driving Assistance Professional Package, Cold Weather Package, Luxury Seating Package, and Executive Package are among the equipment on this limited-run vehicle.
