SVE based in Tom’s River, New Jersey, is back with a new tuned Yenko Camaro for 2021 delivering a whooping 1,050 horses and over $100k.
Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) also knows a thing or two about giving the humble Camaro Bugatti Veyron levels of power. The New Jersey-based second stage vehicle manufacturer has released the 2021 Yenko/SC Stage II Camaro that boasts 1,050 horsepower from 416 cu-in (6.8-liter) supercharged LT-1-based engine.
SVE will only build 50 of these Limited Edition Yenko/SC Stage II cars, which are based off the Camaro 1SS or 2SS with the 1LE option. According to the company, the latter is a must-have “to properly balance the awesome power of the 6.8-liter supercharged engine.”
There are also special touches inside and out to make the Yenko/SC Stage 2 Camaro stand out even when parked. The list includes a custom carbon-fiber hood, multiple Yenko logos, and forged aluminum wheels measuring 20 inches across and available in two patterns. The wheels come wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car 3 tires (285/30ZR20 front and 305/30ZR20 rear). There are also grippy Recaro seats from the 1LE package.
More specifically, the 1LE package brings features like Magnetic Ride Control, electronic limited-slip differential, performance-tuned suspension with unique bushings, springs, and stabilizer bars, as well as a heavy-duty cooling system including an engine oil cooler, dual outboard radiators, transmission cooler, and a rear differential cooler.
Prices start at $69,995, but that sum does not include the donor car. With Chevrolet charging $38,495 for a Camaro 1SS (including a $995 destination fee) and $7,000 for the 1LE package, it means the Yenko/SC starts at a whopping $115,490. If you want the 2SS, you’ll have to fork out $120,490 – before options.
