BMW is introducing the first limited edition of the new 2021 M4 Competition with some design tweaks. BMW teamed up with New York-based fashion brand Kith to develop a custom M4 Competition coupe. Known as the M4 Competition x Kith.
Limited to just 150 examples worldwide, the new special edition of the M4 Competition was created in collaboration with lifestyle brand Kith, featuring unique exterior and interior design details.
BMW will offer the limited edition performance coupe in three matte colors – Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Silver, and Frozen Brilliant White. Get inside the cabin and you’ll find embossed leather Kith logos on the black full Merino leather bucket seats, center armrest, and door panels. Optionally available will be a carbon-fiber roof featuring the BMW M-inspired Kith logo.
The interior of the new M4 Competition by Kith features a pair of tri-color M Carbon bucket seats, which add light blue and red to the black Merino leather upholstery for an impressive result. Kith lettering is also embossed into the black leather of the front and rear headrests, with the center console hosting an exclusive badge.
The unique touches to the vehicle were envisaged by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, who owns an E30 M3 which he customized with some of the same mods you see here.
Nothing has changed under the skin, compared to a standard M4 Competition; power still comes from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 503 HP (510 PS) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. BMW will offer the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system as an option, just like in the regular M4.
It’s priced from $110,245, including destination, and will be delivered in 2021 as a 2022 model. Considering the stock M4 Competition lists from $75,695, BMW is charging quite the premium for the version by Kith. We guess that’s the price you pay for fashion.
